Hi There!
I suppose I should start by introducing myself.
(For reasons of confidentiality I wont be using real names.)
But anyway, my name is Sparky. I am 27, I work full time as a carer with a fantastic company. We work with younger people who mainly have Cerebral Palsy. The guys I support are a great bunch and we have a laugh nearly all the time. At home I look after my Mum, who has various autoimmune things going on with her. I try to help out my Dad as much as possible as he is her main carer, but he is trying to hold down a full time job. And then that leaves my partner, Monkey Moo. He has epilepsy and a few other health problems too.
It's a big job, but I love it. Mostly.
Honestly, sometimes it can get a bit much. Especially when they all have bad days at the same time.
It's taken me a long time to get to a place where I am happy with my life.I've been through more than my fair share, but I am still smiling and still going.
Now enough of tooting my own horn :P
It's getting late, and I'm going to grab some sleep
